For Pete's Sake, it's episode number 9! Today's show is an attempt to show appreciation for our respective Petes the only way we know how: giddy retellings of historical events occurring in the Victorian era. Jon's Pete (aka Dr. Pete) happens to enjoy baseball so Jon takes us out to the first official ball games and highlights a rivalry between the cocky and loud, and the hobbled but proud. Erin's Pete, listeners may know him as Producer Pete, also fancies himself a sportings-fan, so Erin delves into the origins of ice hockey, featuring a cameo by the Empress of all our hearts, Queen Victoria.
